She/Her

Hello, I’m Christina.

Born in Switzerland, I’ve called Australia home since 1999. My journey into health and well-being began 18 years ago in Sydney, where my GP first introduced me to yoga while I was climbing the corporate ladder. At the time, I didn’t realise how much work-related stress and a draining lifestyle were impacting my health. I experienced balance issues, fatigue, a weakened immune system, and more.

Initially skeptical of my doctor’s recommendation, I soon discovered that regular yoga practice offered profound, life-changing benefits. I was hooked from the start, eager to learn, and committed to the practice. Now, at 44, I feel healthier than I did in my 20s! My personal and teaching practices encompass various styles of yoga, meditation, pranayama (breathing techniques), and acupressure.

I’m passionate about sharing these ancient practices in ways that resonate with modern life. I was inspired to open Sanará Studio as a space where people can maintain their health on an ongoing basis—boosting immunity, building resilience, and creating a healthier, happier life. Rather than applying a ‘band-aid’ approach to health, where we only seek solutions when illness arises, I believe in working proactively on vitality and well-being as part of our everyday lifestyle.

My goal is to help you enhance your health and well-being, and I invite you to join me at Sanará Studio—our yoga and well-being sanctuary, a place to heal.

I am immensely grateful to my teachers—Lyndel Dean, Mathieu Boldron, Aisa Locsin, Bernie Clark, Nathalie Keiller, Jo Phee, Sarah Powers, David Swenson, Kino MacGregor, Em Cruickshank, and John Kirkwood—for sharing their wisdom and for their guidance and support.
