Meet Christina

Founder of Sanará Studio | Yoga Teacher | Five Element Acupressure Practitioner

Christina How — founder and teacher of Sanará Studio — was born in Switzerland and now calls lutruwita / Tasmania home. Before discovering yoga, she spent years in the corporate world in Sydney, followed by more than a decade running her own tourism business here in Tasmania.

Yoga became Christina’s personal refuge — a steady practice that supported her through stress, imbalance, and burnout, guiding her toward strength, clarity, and resilience. Over time, she found herself feeling healthier, more grounded, and at ease than ever before. What began as a way to restore her own wellbeing gradually evolved into a deeper calling: to share yoga’s transformative gifts with others.

“What makes the practice so powerful is that by committing to just one thing, all aspects of life begin to improve — without force, pressure, or the feeling of ‘should’ or ‘have to.’”
— Christina How

Over the past 16 years, Christina has completed several formal trainings in yoga and Five Element Acupressure. Her approach is shaped not only by her personal journey, but also by the wisdom passed down from her teachers — blending mindful movement, natural therapies, and compassionate guidance into a practice that feels both supportive and deeply personal.

Through her classes and sessions, Christina gently supports students in cultivating balance, vitality, and ease, offering thoughtful guidance, encouragement, and space for each person to reconnect with themselves — one breath at a time.
